FRIDAY ART WALK - First Friday Night of Every Month
On
the First Friday of every month throughout Springfield's
downtown, we turn into the best of the big cities! In our
galleries, artists studios, and other venues, you can view
the latest sculpture, pottery, blown glass, photography,
paintings, and much more. There is live music, sidewalk
vendors and artists everywhere
you look. You'll think you are in New York's Soho!

NIGHT! - New Year's Eve
Downtown Springfield's alcoholic free celebration for the whole family. From 2:00 pm until after midnight, join the community-wide celebration of culture and community, as we welcome
2009 with music, theater, storytelling, bands, dancing, magic, fireworks at midnight, and more!

Arts Fest on Walnut
Street - Spring 
A citywide celebration of visual and performing artists on Historic Walnut Street, right in front of the Walnut Street Inn! Musicians, painters, sculptures, weavers, singers, potters, dancers....all displaying their talents. Select one of our individually appointed rooms and view the festival from the front porch. Meander through the open air garden gallery and explore the street. Artists and guests get a 10% discount for staying three nights
with us during ArtsFest! Always the first Saturday & Sunday of May.
Cider Days on Walnut
Street - Fall
A celebration of the bounties of summer! Musicians, dancers,
painters, sculptors, weavers, potters and crafts people from
everywhere fill Walnut Street in front of the Inn to
demonstrate their crafts. Artists and guests get a 10%
discount for staying three nights during Cider Days!
MSU Parents Weekends, Homecoming, Graduations, and Sporting Events
We could not be any closer to the
Missouri State University campus! Walnut Street Inn guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast before watching the homecoming parade from our west lawn. Park your car in our lot when you check-in and walk to the stadium. You
will be snug in your room before other fans even get their cars on the street.
Drury Parents Weekends, Homecoming, Graduations, and Sporting Events
We are the closest B&B to
Drury University and less than a five-minute drive to the campus. Book the whole house and bring in your family and friends to celebrate your child's graduation.
Festival of Lights -
Winter
This features a trail of illuminated six foot Snow Flakes that runs through the city, and right down Walnut Street in front of the Inn! Ask us for other fun places to see the lights.
Murder Mystery Weekends
We are currently doing Murder Mystery Weekends for any group that can take all 12 rooms. If you have a corporate group or just a group of friends that can fill the house, we can make it a weekend to remember! Call us

An Old Time Christmas (November 1-December 30, 2008)
Silver Dollar
City's holiday wonder, one of the Nation's finest holiday festivals. The festival features a five story Special Effects Christmas Tree, a 17-foot talking Christmas tree, with children, holiday shows and more than two million lights!
