Our Weekday Discount - Friday and Saturday are our highest demand days. If you can arrange to come Sunday through Thursday nights, thank you! We will reward you with $10 off each night, any room. This is automatic, you don't have to ask for this discount. Just book your room on line or by calling us, and we will discount your room any Sunday through Thursday nights.
"Free Tickets" for the Springfield Cardinals! - Just two blocks away, the Springfield Cardinals, our AA team owned by the St. Louis Cardinals, is playing minor league baseball. They start their season April 15! If you plan to attend any Springfield Cardinals games and need a place to stay, think of us! You can park here, walk two short blocks and be there while others are trying to find a place to pay for parking. Sunday through Thursday, we will even discount your room by the cost of your first two tickets. (Note - does not include Redbird Roost tickets or games on Friday or Saturday.)
Our Romance Package - For 14 years we have packaged romance with any room, and have it down to an art. You choose the room, and while your are out to dinner, the WSI Romance Fairies sneak into your room and leave Champagne or Sparkling Cider in a big brass bucket, with two etched Walnut Street Inn Champagne glasses (yours to keep as a souvenir for special nights at home!) They add a box of 9 locally made chocolate truffles for strength, turn-down the bed, place fresh rose petals across the bed, light 15 votive candles around the room, then turn the lights down low. When you get back and open that door...You take it from there! This Romance Package is $79 in addition to your room cost, and it is darn well worth it! Just ask for the Romance Package and tell us approximately when you will be back from dinner. We'll do the rest!
Sunday Night Recession Discount - One of our most POPULAR specials right now! -- Okay, we'll admit it. The downturn in the economy has affected our business. Occupancy is down, and we would dearly love for you to come and stay! Friday's and Saturday's are our highest demand nights, so if you will arrange your schedule to come Sunday night, our slowest night of the week, we will take 40% off any room cost! That is for one night, any room, any Sunday. You can check in by 2:00 pm for a long stay. We serve breakfast as early as 7:00 am on Monday so you can make it to work on time. Our Last Minute Discount - If we don't have a guest for "tonight" by noon today, we probably won't fill the room. If you can stay tonight, thank you! Just mention the Last Minute Discount and we will discount your room by up to $40! ($10 off any $99-$129 rooms, $20 off any $149 room, and $40 off our $179 rooms!)
Two Night Mini-Vacation Package - You work hard all year so let us make your mini-vacation a true vacation! Enjoy two evenings in one of our rooms with a two-person tub and a fireplace, a bottle of wine (or sparkling juice) in your room at check-in, and dinner for two (catered directly to your room at the Walnut Street Inn by Gilardi's Italian Ristorante!). Then sleep in the next day and enjoy a late breakfast in bed. Finding a good babysitter that can stay overnight with the kids is hard to find. We can help! With this special, you can check into your room as early as 1:00 pm, and spend the afternoon and evening together, and still make it home late into the night to relieve the babysitter. Dine out alone, or for complete privacy, have a meal brought into your room (ask us how) and enjoy each other's company without interruption. You can carve out 10 hours or more of "adult time" in your live that is already full of "kid time." What a luxury!
