Carriage House Guest Rooms

The Carriage House was also built in 1894 and was a dirt floor stable until 1991 when it was converted to four lovely and secluded B&B rooms with private baths. Two large rooms on the first floor give easy access without any stairs (the Jewell Room is handicap accessible) and have wonderful built-in canopy beds (with stars!) with gas fireplaces and two-person whirlpool tubs, while the upstairs rooms offer gas fireplaces and lofty ceilings with skylights. Need four rooms for friends or family? Take all four and be as noisy as you want! All 4 rooms, plus the outside sitting areas have free Wi-Fi access.

Jewell Room - $180

Step back in time as you unwind in this sumptuous room of rich cream, peach and sage green. The vintage hats, shoes, gloves and decadent floral prints add a remarkable air of history. To complete the elegance -- A canopied, four-poster queen bed, gas fireplace, two-person jetted tub, separate bathroom with shower, digital cable with large flat screen TV, WiFi access, complimentary stocked beverage bar and coffeemaker.

Robertson Room - $140

This room is a textured salute to a colorful Scotsman and his music. Rough beams, exposed brick and stucco harmonize with brass, wind and string instruments. Sunlight, dappled by the leaves of a towering walnut tree, filters through the skylights onto the queen bed. A gas fireplace, flat screen cable TV, WiFi access, stocked beverage bar and coffeemaker finish the picture. The private bathroom includes a shower.
